Oklahoma could see a bountiful wheat crop this harvest based on early estimates. With her idea to address the needs of foster children in her community, middle school student Lauren Anderson, has won the grand prize of this year’s Love’s Creative SPARKS! Award. Anderson, of Oklahoma Bible Academy in Enid, created an organization known as "Foster Feet" whose goal is to raise awareness and collect shoes for foster children. That idea was rewarded with a $1000 for her and $1500 for her school to keep her initiative going. [...]
