PIZZA INN FRANCHISE FINDS SLICE IN ENID

The opening of Pizza Inn, 2327 N. Grand, has been delayed by the city’s inspection of the restaurant, manager Nick Jrab said. Jrab said everything in the restaurant is ready for business, but it needs an occupancy license to officially open the doors. “We were supposed to open (Tuesday), but we had a problem with the city,” Jrab said. Love’s, Carl’s Jr. Open in Enid

The smell of cheeseburgers and gasoline is filling the air at the new Love’s/Carl’s Jr. combo store that opened Thursday morning on the east side of Enid. The Love’s gas station and convenience store, 4104 E. COMMISSION APPROVES DOWNTOWN HOTEL

Enid City Commission approved a new term sheet for the downtown hotel development Tuesday evening after the deadline passed with the former developer to close on the property transfer. Ward 6 Commissioner David Vanhooser made a motion to approve the term sheet for the deal after the commission returned from executive session. EVENT CENTER RENAMED-CENTRAL NATIONAL BANK CENTER

COUNTDOWN TO VANCE 75TH ANNIVERSARY AIR SHOW

ECS NAMED TO NATIONAL HONOR ROLL

A local elementary school was named to a national honor roll for reading achievements. Emmanuel Christian School made the Accelerated Reading National Honor Roll based on students’ reading performance. ECS is the only elementary school in the state to make the list.
