Enid has been selected as the host city for the 2017 Oklahoma Arts Council’s Annual Conference. The announcement came from Enid native and Oklahoma Lt. Gov. CALL CENTER EXPANDING ITS ROLE IN ENID

Stratus Call Center is expanding in Enid, company officials have reported. Stratus, a division of ILD Corp., announced in a release this week it will add 75 new customer service agents and seven new supervisors over the next six months. Hanor Farms President Myrl Mortenson discussed the history of the company during Enid Regional Development Alliance’s quarterly luncheon Thursday. An FFA teacher in high school always challenged students to do whatever they did with passion, he said. WIND PRODUCTION AT 1GW

A wind energy operator in Grant and Garfield County recently celebrated the production of 1 gigawatt of wind capacity in the state. Enel Green Power North America, Inc., EGP-NA, began Oklahoma operations in 2012 with the MW Rocky Ridge wind farm.
