Tyson Foods has completed the acquisition of AdvancePierre Foods, a move aligned with Tyson Foods’ fast-growing portfolio of protein packed brands. The company completed a tender offer to buy all the outstanding shares of common stock of AdvancePierre for $40.25 per share in cash, without interest. City Commission Approves Downtown Hotel Plans

Enid City Commission approved plans for a downtown hotel during a special meeting Tuesday. Preliminary plans and specifications were unanimously approved, with Mayor Bill Shewey and Ward 3 Commissioner Ben Ezzell absent from Tuesday's meeting. The city had en­tered into a master development agreement with ENIDBWP LLC in Febru­ary. Autry Course begins with a Job Offer

The registration deadline is approaching for an Autry Technology Center course that begins with students being hired for a new job. Aircraft Structures International Corp. GRAND OPENING OF RESTAURANT IS SWEET

A.J.'s Eats and Sweets will be holding its grand opening Thursday with half-priced drinks. Drinks include cappuccino, frappes, lattes and iced coffees, owner Autium Carter said. New Restaurant Open

El Patio Mexican Grill & Cantina opened in Enid last week.
