Enid AFA Chapter Named Best in the Nation
Enid's chapter of the Air Force Association recently was judged the nation's best. Last weekend at the AFA National Convention in National Harbor, Md., representatives of Enid AFA Chapter 214 received the annual D.W. Enid’s Aviation Roots Run Deep
Celebrating their 70th year in 2017, Vance Air Force Base continues their mission of training one-third of our country’s military aviators. Some of the airplanes flown on base are the T-1 Jayhawk, T-6 Texan II, and the T-38 Talon. Retail Sales Up in Enid
Retail sales are up in Enid and many other area county seats. Oklahoma Tax Commission reports for September show Enid sales are up 1.9 percent, or $1.3 million, from sales reported in September 2016. Overall, year to date, retail sales are down 0.4 percent. Main Street Enid moves forward with Maker Trail Project
Main Street Enid is set to proceed with its Maker Trail project, which would be an addition to September's and October's First Fridays downtown. Koch Fertilizer Gives to Enid Fire Department
Koch Fertilizer has given $5,000 to Enid Fire Department to replace aging and outdated rescue equipment.
