Enid works with NWOSU, NOC on teacher programs
ENID, Okla. — Northwestern Oklahoma State University-Enid and Northern Oklahoma College Enid are working with Enid Public Schools to develop programs to address the teacher shortage in Northwest Oklahoma. Enid Young Professionals held its 11th annual 10 Under 40 Awards on Tuesday at the Stride Bank Center. The awards honored members of the community under 40 years old who have made their impact felt in Enid. ENID, Okla. — During what has been a long stretch of extreme heat, a new business opened this weekend that provides a place for family fun in a cool atmosphere. Froz’n Shakes Mini Golf, 430 E. First Recipients of the Work in Enid Award Selected
In April, the Cherokee Strip Community Foundation (CSCF) announced the Work in Enid Award to attract talent to Enid to fill the more than 400 available jobs. With an unemployment rate of 2.7%, Enid has more job openings than job seekers.
