Fostering ‘Intrapreneurship’: Vance Air Force Base Continues Infrastructure, Technology Upgrades

Six months into the 2019 federal fiscal year, Vance Air Force Base is building on a number of recently completed and soon-to-be implemented infrastructure and technology projects. Infrastructure Col. Corey Simmons, commander of the 71st Flying Training Wing, briefed members of the Enid community, along with U.S. Sen. Jim Inhofe, R-Okla., and state legislators in January on infrastructure projects at the base. All three of the base’s runways have scheduled work within the next two years. [...]

National Salsa Brand, Maria Rae’s, founded in Enid, Oklahoma

$1 Million US Dept of Labor Grant Awarded to Enid’s YouthBuild Program
