‘Largest of Its Kind’ Energy Project Coming to Northwest Oklahoma
The "largest combined wind, solar and energy storage project in the U.S." is slated for construction in Northwest Oklahoma, with a collective footprint to include Garfield, Alfalfa and Major counties, Western Farmers Electric Cooperative announced Tuesday. Tyson Foods to Reopen Pine Street Facility and Expand Workforce
Tyson Foods is expanding its operation in Enid by reopening a former AdvancePierre facility that closed in 2017. "As part of the company's ongoing efforts to meet growing demand for its products and maximize efficiencies, the Tyson Foods facility on Pine Street in Enid, Oklahoma, is undergoing improvements," said Derek Burleson, external communications for Tyson Foods. Hideaway Pizza is coming to Enid. The Oklahoma-based pizza chain announced Tuesday, July 16, 2019, it is signing on to join The District, a retail development under construction at Cleveland and Garriott, formerly known as Lahoma Courts.
