Manor on Willow set to be completed by December
Construction is set to be completed for the Manor on Willow affordable housing project by the end of this year unless there are delays. Principal of Belmont Management Derrick Hamilton said the goal completion date is Dec. 15 for the project being built at 1410 W. Willow. Artist: ‘Real Magic is underneath’ downtown project
Enid's latest public art project "Under Her Wing Was the Universe" is complete and already attracting visitors. Artist Romy Owens said she was pleased with the results of the project and hopes the community is pleased with them as well. The project received a $2,500 grant from the Kaiser Foundation last year. Settlers Brewing Co. brings life back to downtown building
Settlers Brewing Co., located at 202 E Randolph, is a family-run business in a 4,500 square foot downtown Enid building. Some of Enid’s residents remember visiting the KGEO-TV studio at this location, which later became KOCO-TV when it moved to Oklahoma City. It was part of Streets Electronics, now Hann Plummer PLLC, next door. The building later became Enid Transmission Specialists before opening as the brewery in February, 2020. Garfield County Industrial Park Awarded $800,000 EDA Grant
On June 15, the Economic Development Administration (EDA) announced the Garfield County Industrial Park as a recipient of an EDA Grant for $800,000 for infrastructure improvements. The EDA grant will be matched with $225,394 in local funds and is expected to create 30 jobs. The industrial park is managed by the Garfield County Industrial Authority and is located on Enterprise Drive & 54th Street. ERDA Announces $5,000 Grant Recipient
The Enid Regional Development Alliance (ERDA) is proud to announce Sunny Moon Day Care as the recipient of the first annual MicroEnterprise Grant. A total of nine applications were received representing a variety of small businesses in Enid. Autry seeking rezoning for new training site
Autry Technology Center is awaiting rezoning for a property meant to house two new training programs, one set to begin next month. The request seeks to change the property, formerly known as Zaloudek Marine, from C2 and C3 (commercial) to special usage.
