St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center recently acquired new robotic surgical technology for knee replacement surgery, becoming first in the region and second in the state to do so. Spring application deadline for $10,000 Enid business grant moved to January
To help get funds in the hands of businesses more quickly, ERDA has moved up the application deadline for its MicroEnterprise Grant from April 30 to Jan. 29. ERDA will award two $10,000 grants to two local businesses with six or fewer employees. The grant will allow the recipient to use the funds for rent, payroll, inventory, software, marketing, equipment or renovations, according to a press release. The Enid Regional Development Alliance (ERDA), in a partnership with the City of Enid, has launched a new program to support businesses negatively impacted by COVID-19 utilizing CARES Act Funding. Skeleton Creek Wind now producing electricity
The first phase of NextEra Energy Resources’ massive Skeleton Creek Project has become operational as the wind energy part of the project began generating electricity on Dec. 16. The project, which will be located in Garfield, Alfalfa and Major counties, will combine wind, solar and battery storage when it is complete.
