To help businesses navigate ERDA’s grant programs, the following criteria and guidelines apply to all ERDA grants unless otherwise noted. We encourage applicants to review this information carefully before submitting an application.

ERDA grants are designed to support business growth, workforce development, and community investment by providing reimbursement-based funding for eligible projects.

General Grant Guidelines

Reimbursement Process

All ERDA grants are reimbursable, meaning awarded funds are paid after the business submits paid receipts related to the approved project and those expenses are verified as paid in full.

Ineligible Businesses

Home-based businesses, remote-only businesses, and multi-level marketing businesses do not qualify for ERDA Grants.

Funding Availability

Grant funds are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis. While applications are accepted throughout the year, funding is dependent on program qualifications, availability of funds, and board approval.

Application Review Process

Applications are reviewed by ERDA staff to determine if eligibility requirements have been met before being presented to the ERDA Board of Directors.

Applicants should be prepared to submit:

  • Completed grant application
  • Required supporting documents listed on the application
  • Current financial documents
  • Project-specific bids or estimates (if applicable)

Your Project Timelines

Awarded grants may be forfeited if the approved project is not completed within the timeline established at the time of application and award.

Applicants are encouraged to have realistic project timelines and be prepared to move forward once funding is approved.

In some cases, a Certificate of Occupancy from the City of Enid may be required before reimbursement can be issued.
