ENID, Okla. — Marcie Mack, who serves as executive director of Enid Regional Development Alliance, led a presentation on how a team can work together to grow Enid.
Mack told Enid Noon AMBUCS members Dec. 5, Dec. 5, 2025, the three pillars of ERDA were work, grow and live.
“We work as a group to grow Enid,” Mack said. ”We offer a variety of different programs and opportunities to attract new business and support entrepreneurs, especially women.”
ERDA helps local businesses with job postings and career fairs, and provides resources for talent recruitment in Enid, using the website GrowEnid as a hub, she said.
Business and entrepreneurship programs sponsored by ERDA include MicroEnterprise Grants for small businesses in Enid, equipment and infrastructure grants up to $25,000 for new equipment or improvements and industry certification grants up to $5,000 for certifications, Mack said.
ERDA supports Women in Business, networking and events, and partners with REI Women’s Business Center. In enterprise zones, ERDA establishes incentives for businesses in certified industrial parks.
ERDA’s talent and workforce programs includes the Work in Enid Award, which provides up to $10,000 in student loan relief for new residents with degrees/certifications. Enid Summer Internship Program connects college students with local companies, offering potential housing, she said.
ERDA hosts job boards and fairs, posts jobs on WorkinEnid.com and represents businesses at college career fairs. Through Leonardo’s Children’s Museum, ERDA provides grants for STEM programs for K-6 students.
Membership benefits include access to BIZ\BOOST Series, priority job postings on www.workinenid.com, tickets to ERDA events, such as luncheons and summits, and ERDA assistance programs.
