Celebrating their 70th year in 2017, Vance Air Force Base continues their mission of training one-third of our country’s military aviators. Some of the airplanes flown on base are the T-1 Jayhawk, T-6 Texan II, and the T-38 Talon. Over 390 pilots to graduate from Vance Air Force Base each year, and because of their fond memories during training, many return to Enid for retirement.
