The annual Northwest Oklahoma Women’s Business Summit is coming to Autry Technology Center on July 18.

Held 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. in Autry Tech’s Oklahoma Room, the summit is an 8-hour opportunity for local women to meet, greet, network, listen and learn, all to better succeed in whatever professional role they fill.

“Join us at this one-day event designed to encourage, support, and equip women in business throughout Northwest Oklahoma,” the event website said.

Retired Maj. Gen. Rita Aragon is delivering a keynote speech on leadership 9-10 a.m., and former city manager Eric Benson will deliver a second keynote 3-4 p.m.

Throughout the day, local business and community leaders will host three breakout sessions, from 10:10-11:45 a.m., and repeat those sessions again from 1:25-2:45 p.m., according to the business summit’s website.

The first session, called “Visionary Ladies — How They Became Successful,” features Cheri Ezzell, director of Community Development Support Association; Martie Oyler, regional manager for Oklahoma Natural Gas; and Donna Melchert, executive national vice president for Arbonne.

The second session is hosted by Joel Parker, founder of Teak Leadership Group, with his presentation, “A Leader in the Mirror.”

Kelly Tompkins, director of Main Street Enid, is hosting the third, “Boost Your Brand With Cause Marketing.”

Registration for the event is $40. Breakfast and lunch are provided, according to the website.

NWOK Women’s Business Summit is sponsored by Enid Regional Development Alliance, Main Street Enid, Northern Oklahoma College, REI Women’s Business Center, Autry Technology Center and Strate Center for Business Development.
