Enid, Oklahoma – Following the announcement that Governor Elect Kevin Stitt appointed long-time Enid Regional Development Alliance (ERDA) Executive Director Brent Kisling to serve as the Executive Director of the Oklahoma Department of Commerce, the ERDA Board held a special meeting and appointed Associate Director of ERDA Lisa Powell, as the Interim-Executive Director of the organization.

“For the past decade Lisa has served alongside Brent at the ERDA,” said Chairman of the ERDA Board, Martie Oyler. “We’re very proud of Brent’s success, but know economic development is in safe hands with Lisa continuing to serve our community.”

Lisa was born and raised in Enid, Oklahoma and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University. After graduation, Lisa spent the next 1-1/2 years working and traveling in Europe. Lisa then made her home in Dallas, TX where she worked for 10 years as a Product Manager and Sales Director for telecom companies such as AT&T. In 2009, Lisa moved back to Enid, Oklahoma where she began her career as Associate Director for the Enid Regional Development Alliance. Lisa is on the front lines with many of ERDA’s projects that are vast in scope from workforce development to working with both local and out of town businesses on their expansion plans in Enid.

The Enid Regional Development Alliance Board will meet in February to determine steps for moving forward and filling organizational rolls.
