To ensure that Enid has the water supply businesses need, a new pipeline is being built to draw water from a nearby lake. Though the current water supply is sufficient, Enid is looking ahead and planning for growth. City Manager, Jerald Gilbert, said, “The Kaw Lake pipeline project should supply the water needs of Enid for the next 50 years and beyond. The pipeline project is expected to be completed within the next five to seven years.’
Value Added Agriculture, Data Centers, and manufacturing companies all have a demand for sufficient water. Whether this is to feed crops or run cooling systems, heavy water is essential for business and economic expansion. Now that this $315 million pipeline is being built, Enid will be ready to supply whatever water needs a business has. Read more about the story or get updates here.
