Stratus Call Center is expanding in Enid, company officials have reported.

Stratus, a division of ILD Corp., announced in a release this week it will add 75 new customer service agents and seven new supervisors over the next six months. Currently the center employees 55 customer service representatives and five supervisors, according to the release.

“We are very pleased with the success of our Enid call center,” said Bryan Gross, Stratus Contact Solutions COO. “The community’s support and ability to provide high-quality employees and the cost effective operation of the center makes it the best choice for our expansion. We look forward to continued growth and a long-term successful operation in Enid.”

Stratus selected Enid for its call center location because of its skilled work force, labor costs and collaborative approach to doing business with companies, according to the release.

“The employees we have been able to hire in the Enid area have been very well suited for call center agents and supervisors,” said Maria Deamer, Stratus Contact Solutions director of call center operations. “They are well qualified and dependable.”

Stratus, 2300 N. 10th, is in the former OnviSource building. Stratus announced it was coming to Enid in April 2015 after another call center, StarTek, announced it would close its operations in Enid. That announcement came a little more than two months after StarTek announced it was re-opening.

Stratus provides ongoing training in a variety of areas for its call center agents and multi-channel inbound sales and customer care solutions for clients.

Some qualifications call center applicants must meet are a high school diploma, six months customer experience, exceptional listening and analytical skills, ability to work well in a team environment and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
