Joining with Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin, Lt. Gov. Todd Lamb, legislators, and business leaders from across the state, several community leaders and small business owners from Enid celebrated the success of small business at the 18th Annual Lt. Governor’s Small Business Day at the state capitol. Enid’s own Aircraft Structures International Corporation (ASIC) was among the three businesses honored with the 2016 Small Business Award of Excellence. Lt. Governor Lamb said ASIC merited the award with continued revenue growth and strong performance in commercial aircraft overhaul. ASIC has partnered with Autry Technology Center in effort to fill the workforce gap with a trained labor force. This also added to their success that led to this award. Accepting the award is ASIC CEO/President Mickey Stowers.
